On july 11 I talked about adding some more interesting features. Now, nearly 3 months later, these features have come.

I implemented the atom feed earlier this week and today those other things I spoke of have gone live as well. If you have been here before you will see that things have changed a bit.

The first thing you’ll probably notice are the pictures next to each post, these are called avatars, or in this case more specifically, gravatars. You can read more about gravatars onhttp://www.gravatar.com. In short, gravatars are the only reason the email field is available.

The next thing that wasn’t here before are the links to other sites. Just wanted to give some props to my peeps on the internets :-D. If any of you want to return the favor, I wouldn’t mind ;-).

Speaking of links, as you will see in this message, auto linking is now enabled. Since I added some anti spam protection I’m not as worried about getting bombarded with useless messages by automated tools.

As of now this site might be severely broken in Internet Explorer 6. I’m sorry about that but I’m not able to test in that browser right now. I’ll spend some time making these pages at least somewhat accessible in that browser. But please, if you still use IE6, consider upgrading to a new version or a maybe even a better browser (http://browsehappy.com/browsers/).
